LoL Headmistress Fiora Game Mesh by HecM LoL Headmistress Fiora Game Mesh by HecM
First skin for League of Legends I've made in collaboration with Forge Studios. Was pretty fun, looking forward to show more stuff when it's cleared.

What was the tri count on the game mesh? Im working on one but cant seem to find the polycount on the in-game models.

This skin has under 8k, but some of the new re-works of the the LoL characters have fairly high polycounts in relation to their on screen size, I've seen some at around 13k. :)

Yeah, the old ones were very low poly, but the reworks definitely benefit from higher counts and from being sculpted in zbrush before getting done in low poly.

thanks Hector. Ok I know you're not allowed to show flats of the LOL characters but is it possible to say how many tpages were allowed per character and weapon??? Im going for internship at Riot games and I think to stand a chance I need to create a champion.
Also, was this a render in Riot's proprietary engine or just software screen grab??
-Much appreciated for all the answers.

Every skin I've dealt with has all its parts in one sheet, Annie is an exception sort of with her small teddy being in her same texture sheet and the big bear having his own. Your best shot for the internship is indeed in doing the best possible champion skin, or made up champion that fits their universe. There are other artists here in deviant who actually work at Riot and from what I've seen some of them got their start by mostly doing really high quality fan art and showing they could match and improve upon the LoL style. The render was done by my friends at Forge with zbrush and maya screengrabs. :)

But i was wondering what program you used/use?
Zbrush? or maybe even Mudbox?

Zbrush, some friends of mine use Mudbox for the texturing. I might check it out in the future too. The rest is Maya and Photoshop. :)
